Sep 1st, 2011 - To Atlantic first Update

For so long, I am so lazy to update new things ^^", but today (after crying cuz of a good movie :D) I have succeeded to emit some energy writing something on this  unpopular blog ^^

After nearly half of a month, I didn't do much work as I expected but, I still turn out some progress on To Atlantic mini game I barely created.

  • finishing basic structure of the game (so vague but I am so lazy to give the detail Y_Y)
  • finishing 3 fishes (a clown fish, a piranha and a narwhal)
  • finishing world map :D
i will show u the map for today ^^

Aug 19th, 2011 - Remake and start

For many reasons such as technique, time remained and bla bla bla many others unpopular and unlogical reasons that I could come up with, uhm, I will temporarily freeze the working of Miracle project. But that doesn't mean that I will leave away the works that I crazily got so far, I will use them and remake the same project but on mobile flatform. There is a whole bunch of new obstacles I need to face - to put more than 20 as3 files of 3 separate flash projects and combine it into one. It's freaking hard but easy at the same time. I just need to copy and paste and discover the mostly-three-words errors in the sea of 10 pages-long as3 code. yup, I exaggerate a bit :D (just a little bit).
In the same time, i have started a new project a about fish :

It will not uhm... stupid as those above (from google search). i want to make 3d fish this time and 3Ds max is the tool I coped with. Most of the fishes above will appear in my game. Will give you any new news ASAP OwO.  Anyway, I will call the game "To Atlantica" now, hope no further adjustments.

Aug 16th, 2011 - Skien - the magic town

Not much! found out that I am put more and more time and effort on making the latter BG. Hope the outcome will better as the more energy spent throughout the progress :D

Today I made the Skien BG - the magic town and some of the components of the next BG << Gimle - Migard's Capital>> Hope this one will come out beautifully ^^

Aug 14th, 2011 - Bergen town and Uppsala desert BG

Until 9 of August, I suddenly lost my consideration over things; don't know what is the best to do; wonder what i oughta do. Somehow I have got back to my normal track. Although I still do not sure what is correct and what isn't, but if i still going forward, until the day I clear myself, I will not regret for the time I spent on doing my works, my interest.

I have finished 2 more backgrounds :D and 12 swords pencil concepts ^^. That's all for 4 days works.

Aug 7th, 2011 - create Job change system

So far so good !

I'm just ...maybe, having a bad habit that overlooking everything. Yup, I tought creating this Job changing system would be going to be very difficult. My first thought was something like FF Tactic's: having all job and rotating in a eclipse form. However, i gave up due to the limit of the tab's size. Thus, at last, I only included 2 jobs avatar at most(only when rotating). That made the job becoming much more more easier. only 2 Mc creating at a time: 1 is the current job and another is the job that being switch out. All the animation is controlled under flash manual animation. The remainder task is only to add job-human avatar into the system.

Aug 6th, 2011 - Create Skill System

At first, it seemed to be a little bit difficult. I was expecting to use more than 2 days time to finish it. However, things turned out to be very easy and well-control (unlike equip System! OMG!).Most of the job, i think, will have the same skill upgrade system (due to my laziness :D and maybe the structure of the game - uhm - my excuse =.=). I made every skill tree to have a separate Mc and its own skills symbols. For adding new job tree, it needs to:

  • add new symbol of each skills toward [skillB symbol] folder.
  • add a new skill container, child of the skill tab
  • create a new AS for itself (for template, just take the other skill tree AS and copy it, then use ctrl+F to change the job Code).
  • adjust the skillB AS3 to include the new job tree.
